The Chicago Botanic Gardens is comprised of 385 acres of nature. Because of this, if you’re a Chicago couple looking to take your engagement photos to the next level, it serves as the perfect Chicago engagement location. One of the best things about the Chicago Botanic Gardens is that they have a wide variety of flora and greenery blooming during different seasons. Permits & Fees

If you’re looking to have your engagement session done at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, you’re going to need to make sure you brush up on the necessary permits and fees! In this case, you are required to purchase a permit in order for you to shoot any sort of photography or videography at the Chicago Botanic Garden. Nicole & Michael’s Chicago Botanic Gardens Engagement Photos

Nicole and Michael’s Chicago Botanic Gardens engagement photos consisted of using the beautiful mid-day sun to capture some epic shots. Now tbh, we are not the ones who typically recommend shooting in the middle of the day. Mid-day sun and lighting can be very harsh. Thus causing tons of shadows and most of the time is not the best in our opinion. However, in the case of Nicole and Michael’s Chicago engagement session, we are actually completely head-over-heels OBSESSED. Like more obsessed than we are with mac n’ cheese… and that’s saying something.

We were able to wander throughout the Chicago Botanic Garden and fully utilize the space to our advantage. We made sure that we were able to crack a few lame dad jokes throughout their session. Shortly after we even got to snag a few bagels as a mid-day snack. Which made all of our tummies extremely happy. Shoutout to Nicole and Michael for not only sharing the same names as us but for being the most down-to-earth and coolest couple EVER!!
