The definition of badass, this Warehouse 109 wedding was entirely outside of the box. A black wedding dress, emerald green all around, and a couple that KNEW how to set the mood.

Can we just talk about Warehouse 109?
We are OBSESSED with this new wedding venue in the Chicago suburbs. I mean, it has a motorcycle gallery for crying out loud! There’s an actual wall of motorcycles, the coolest photo backdrop we’ve ever seen. Here’s their website if you need it!
It was absolutely perfect for Dylan and Britt, an edgy couple with a love for Corgis (could there be anything more perfect than that combination??).

She wore a black dress
We’ve never seen moody glam done like this before and we wouldn’t change one thing. They knew how to throw a banger!

The all black wedding details
Flatlays like this kill us!! Literally with a “Til death do us part” theme, their October wedding certainly had a Halloween twist.

A Corgi surprise
There was a puppy training business close to the bridal suite and one of Britt’s bridesmaids came up to Nicole and blurted, “There are Corgis here. Britt would die to pet them.” Well, our motto is we don’t ask for permission, but for forgiveness. With the owner’s permission (okay so we don’t steal dogs), we brought the Corgi to Britt. HER FACE WAS SHOCKED when I brought the Corgi and she started to cry. SHE WAS SOOOOO HAPPY!!!

Hear it from the couple
How they met
“Knowing I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Dylan of course took time, but it was little moments that built up that made me realize. The way he makes me laugh when I’m upset and keeps me level-headed are great characteristics to have in a significant other. We met in a Mcdonald’s parking lot at 1AM. My friends and I would always end our nights there eating food together before we went home. My friend, Josh, saw Dylan ride by on his motorcycle and waved him over and we ended up talking for a while before I left. When I got home, he had added me on Facebook and the rest is history! The crazy part is that he was best friends with my best friend’s brother growing up… so we were always in the same house! We didn’t realize it because the age gap- no older brother wants to hang out with his little sister and her friends.”

What they had to say
“I blinked and the day was gone! Enjoy every single moment and do EXACTLY what you want for it, because it’s your day — no one else’s. Make sure to look into your vendors because they can really make or break your day. Lucky for us, we found the most fun, loving, and exciting couple to take our beautiful pictures. I honestly don’t think there is a good enough word in the dictionary to describe how we felt looking at our pictures! We had such an amazing day and to have it all captured really makes it special. We can look back on these in 50 years and know all the love we still have for each other was there on that day.”
May all of the other venues you were considering rest in peace. This location is a winner. Let us join on the fun. Say hi or stalk us on the ‘gram!
